Baptisms, Weddings, Funerals |
We are here to serve your needs, even if you are not a regular church attender. We will encourage you to take the Christian faith seriously, but we shall accept you as you are.
Baptism
God's gift of life is an amazing miracle. Baptism is the way
to live that life with God in its fullness by following Jesus Christ
as members of his Church.
People can be baptised at any age. It is the first of the
three steps of Christian initiation, leading to the first Holy
Communion, and the Sacrament of Confirmation.
There will be some preparation for this process of initiation, and
it is always a lovely time of growth and new discovery. For
parents who would like their children baptised, we welcome you 'as you
are'. Together let's prepare for a wonderful celebration of
God's love - who is the very source of all that love you have for your
child and family.
